E-2 Visa
A perfect option for certain entrepreneurs and traders, E visas are relatively inexpensive to obtain (aside from your investment), do not require a job offer, and can be renewed an unlimited number of times. But it is limited to citizens of treaty countries only.
This visa allows investors from treaty countries to work in the United States through their investment in the US enterprise. The business must be genuine and the investment must be able to support the investor and his/her family within 5 years. The investment must be significant percentage of the value of the business.
This category of visa requires the investor to enter the US with the sole purpose of developing the business as a full-time occupation, and is restricted from working elsewhere.
